• Handwash

Rinse the gusset in cold running water while showering or at the sink, gently rubbing against itself and changing out the water until the period fluid is gone and the water is clear. Then, use a mild soap to repeat the same process; fabric softener is not recommended as it may damage the fabric and diminish absorbency.
  • Machine Wash

Rinse your underwear in cold running water and rub the gusset in a circular motion before putting it in the washing machine. Ensure that the period blood has been thoroughly removed and the water runs clear. Avoid using fabric softener, as it may degrade your period pants' absorbency.
  • Hang out to dry

No tumble dry as this can damage the fabric and reduce the absorbency over time. Because of the layers in the gusset, LAPISZ Period Underwears can take longer to dry, to speed up the drying process, dry inside out. Just to be on safe side, you may want to stock up on extra pairs of period underwears.
